The many faces of deprivation

As we move into the holiday season (yes, it is fast approaching), I’ve noticed my thoughts turning towards deprivation. Why?

Because this is the time of year when I start to hear people express fear and anxiety about all the tempting holiday foods that they just won’t be able to resist.  It’s also when people start to plan how they are going to diet away their bad eating come January.
